A weekend based in the City? If the weather is good, Marin, Point Reyes, and urban shooting... If the weather is bad, the city museums, food, and entertainment...
Sounds great. I haven't been to Point Reyes in a while and maybe we can get some shots of the Golden Gate Bridge from the Marin Headlands at sunset.

Myself and my wife were discussing on this and there are also some contradicting results from the vaccine.So a vaccine no long enough in the market , whose resukts not yet agreed completely by all the doctors shud not be mandated for anyone ,not just immigrants.
lets start a signature camapign to oppose this. even though it affects only some people (does not effect me, for example), we need to register protest to send an answer to uscis that they cannot do whatever they like.

My employer is horrible to work with. But after hearing horror stories about other consulting companies i decided to stick with known devil... Moreover i did not want to take up permanent job assignment on h1 due to layoff fear...

Forgive me if this post does not belong here (this is the first time I am posting anything in any forum)
I have been in US as a student for four years and working as a researcher for little over a year. I learnt of all this 140 - 485 - 765 business only in the last 3 - 4 weeks after my first interaction with a lawyer who is filing for my permanent residency. The recent USICS dates "flip-flop" as many refer to is in fact disappointing. Based on my little understanding of how all this works I came down to the following two thoughts (and I am a bit skeptical of how this forum will react to what I am posting)-
1. The sudden change of PD to current for many was a too good to be true event - and if it is too good to be true, it probably isn't. USCIS made us aware of that on 2nd July. Of course, people got excited spent a lot of time and effort to collect papers etc and USCIS did do something to upset a lot of people. Having said that, status quo for most is what it was before July 13th. albeit applying for 485 would have allowed getting work permits for dependents, and travel documents etc.
2. In my humble opinion, asking a law suit or any amount of aggravation expressed towards USCIS is not going to be of much benefit. Instead the solution lies with SKIL BILL. Again, this is just my opinion that channeling energy to move the SKIL BILL forward is really the way to solve the problem. This bill is now in the senate judiciary committe for review and there is a good chance, just like last year, that it will remain there and die unless somebody pushes it forward.

I need some serious help with my D50 equipment. I have no experience at all with SLR cameras, and have recently bought a bundle consisting of a Nikon D50 and a Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S Dxlens. Now I am interested in buying another lens (The Nikon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 AF Zoom Lens) in hope that these two lenses would suit my needs in amateur photography. I intend to photo landscapes, portraits and some ''macro'' (flowers and some insects). So, I would like to know if these lenses are an acceptable choice, having in mind that I can't afford to buy some expensive lenses, as my average monthly salary almost amounts to the price of these cheap ones. Everyone. Calling and worrying about notices and checks is of no use. We are in constant communication with USCIS and they have told us that it will take about 40-60 days to clear the huge backlog for these notices and checks. So everyone needs to be patient. We have tried to explain several times but people keep opening threads or keep asking the same questions on various threads. Today everyone is tracking notices. Tommorrow we will all be tracking EADs and APs. By the time we get our EADs and APs, it will be time to apply for them again next year. So tracking of checks and notices will continue forever and will yield no productive result for our cause. We should be instead worried if the Greencard should come soon and if we dont have to keep applying for EADs and APs every year for the next 5-6 years. Is anyone worried about Namechecks and RFEs? Nobody. Instead of calling USCS we should be calling our lawmakers and ask them to fix the system. We should be working on making this rally successful so that we can all stop worrying about our notices and quickly get our greencards.
We should be worried that if the law does not pass soon, it is not likely to pass for another 2-3 years. And thus use that worry to help out with the rally.
Hope this helps reduce anxiety in everyone.

Most of the time you will hanlde referential integrity checks via SQL constraints or a double layer via your business objects and constraints together. If you wrap your update statements in a try/catch you can always catch any SQLExceptions first.
Self incrementing IDs shouldn't be a problem - the data objects should be smart enough to know not to try to insert a key, and they will let SQL pick it. You shouldn't need to worry about these at all.
As long as SQL has the constraints you shouldn't have any problems introduced by the application - the worst case is that the application throws an unhandled exception after trying to do an illegal insert. Of course if this causes any problems within the application and the data display it should be handled, but the actual underlying data shouldn't be affected.

My passport is filled with various schengen visas.
I take the insurance from Travelex. It costs around $25 for one person.
I once had an issue where one of the connecting flights was missed because the previous flight got delayed due to technical issues and since I booked from different travel agents, I had to shell out $300 bucks.
I called Travelex to get the details about refund. They sent me a form. After that I procrastinated. Travelex kept sending me reminders that I have not sent the filled form (really, which insurance company wants to remind users about claims?).
I sent the form and my refund came back within a week.
I like Travelex insurance because it takes 10 minutes online and I expense it as part of my biz trips.
I really really would like to see Europe issue longer duration visas. Their Schengen visa is plain ridiculous.
By the way, I just came back from Europe yesterday.
Many countries in Europe have free healthcare. So it is not really an issue to get healthcare. The insurance helps you when you have to be transported back or such in very very unfortunate cases.

Wondering, can any body clarify what 'now pending standard processing at a USCIS office.' means - if its a good sign - why and any experiences?? also 'a USCIS office' means National Benefits Center (MSC) or a local office?

I have observed, based on stories from different people that NSC sends RFEs when one tries to upgrade a non-premium I-140 case to premium. Does NSC send RFEs for premium cases? Till now, I have only heard NO.
No matter how hard I try, my lawyer keeps insisting that my case should not be upgraded to premium, because if an RFE is served, it might delay the case even more (implying, more than how long a regular case takes).
The whole thing does not seem to make any sense. If an applicant files under premium processing, according to NSC, his/her application is more reliable (and honest?) than if some one who files it on non-premium basis?

If it is through your Spouse then do not have to worry? What was period of this of this work? If it is only this year some CPA can do magic
As I mentioned earlier, my case is family-based. I'm in F1 visa status so the 245 provision doesn't apply to me. The period of work is hard to calculate. Since I never actively participated in my own business, I don't recall ever working for more than a few hours each month.
I suppose the question boils down to this: Should I, or shouldn't I disclose my self employment to CIS?

I am in the same boat, yesterday talked to the Attorney Murthy, she said there is no need of H4 approval document/extension if they go out of country. If Stamping is needed your extension of H1 Should be approved
